Master degree
It is expected that professionals who have completed the training in the Program at the master level be able to:
- Act in the improvement of nursing and health care through teaching, research and outreach activities, considering gender, race, social classes, and intergeneration approaches, among others.
- Identify the needs of the training process in nursing and health, supporting the implementation and improvement of teaching programs.
- Act in the teaching in the nursing and health field using different pedagogical approaches.
- Identify research problems using qualitative and quantitative methods and analyze the results of researches based on scientific evidence and respecting ethical precepts.
- Use searching methods for scientific evidence, subsidizing teaching, research and care actions.
- Identify scenarios and contexts related to the management of systems health and healthcare services.
PhD degree
Professionals are expected to be able to:
- Develop qualified research in the nursing and health area.
- Identify, interpret, plan, use and disseminate new research designs that impact the concentration area of the Program.
- Analyze and interpret the impact of research on society and the production of knowledge in the area.
- Participate and coordinate the activities of research groups in the institutions to which they are linked, promoting the nucleation of knowledge and raising funds for scientific research.
- Identify the needs of the training process in nursing and health and contribute to the implantation, implementation and improvement of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Produce publications and partnerships in national and international research projects and networks.
- Produce and disseminate innovative, rigorously constructed and impact knowledge for the nursing and health area.
