The duration of the PhD course is 48 months. To obtain the title of PhD in Nursing, the student must maintain a coefficient of academic performance equal to or greater than 7.0, complete a total of 10 credits in mandatory subjects and activities, 12 credits in optional subjects, be approved in qualification exams I and II, and be approved in the defense of the PhD thesis.
In 2018.1, after approval of the proposed restructuring of the pedagogical project of the course, the crediting changed to 28 credits in disciplines and activities so distributed: 9 credits in disciplines and 7 in activities, both compulsory; 12 credits in elective courses. Such changes will be in force for classes with entry from 2018.1.
